Avatar in Seafile Client gone since upgrade to server version 6.2

Hi!

Could it be that the Avatar picture in the Seafile client 6.1.2 is not working in conjunction with Seafile server 6.2? I’m using version 6.2.3 in the Community Edition and version 6.1.9 in the Pro Edition, and since the upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2, only the account connected to the Pro Edition is showing the Avatar picture in the client… The web interfaces are showing the pictures without any problem.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Same issue here. When it will be fixed?

Server: Pro 6.2.10, Debian 9
Client: 6.1.7, Windows 7 x64

Interesting. I’m meanwhile on 6.2.9 and the problem seems to be fixed. :neutral_face:

wow. I still have this issue.
I re-installed the client, but there’s still no avatar shown.

Apache WSGI?

nope, nginx, with this config:

location / {
proxy_pass         http://127.0.0.1:8000;
proxy_set_header   Host $host;
proxy_set_header   X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header   X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_set_header   X-Forwarded-Host $server_name;
proxy_read_timeout  1200s;

# used for view/edit office file via Office Online Server
client_max_body_size 0;
}

location /seafhttp {
rewrite ^/seafhttp(.*)$ $1 break;
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8082;
client_max_body_size 0;
proxy_connect_timeout  36000s;
proxy_read_timeout  36000s;
proxy_send_timeout  36000s;
send_timeout  36000s;
}

location /media {
    root /opt/seafile/seafile-server-latest/seahub;
}

I think this is correct because there are no errors on seahub.
Everything is working fine, only the avatar in the seafile client is missing.
Any ideas?

Why are you using root? Maybe the process can’t acces. Client 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.6 and 6.1.7 with Seafile CE 6.25 the Avatar picture works fine. Or Maybe try to convert your picure to .png oder .jpg, may the format causes the problem.

It’s the document root of nginx.

nice, but the issue is in the Pro Version 6.2.10

already tried. But the avatar works well in seahub, so I think there’s no format problem.

Any further ideas?

Which OS are you using?
