Backup solution for the vhdx?

Hi,
I’m running my seafile server in a vdhx on Hyper-V.
What’s the best possible way to backup the vhdx file?
I don’t want to copy the hole vhdx all the time etc.

Use Veeam, it is free for hyper-v if simple backups. Also stuff like Acronis may be ok for you.

Thanks that sounds good, I’ll take a look at Veeam’s free edition.

I did find an other solution, altaro it’s free for two VM’s then you need to pay if you want more.

And for me that only uses one VM it’s perfect :slight_smile:

Veeams free software was so limited that I don’t find any use for it other then manually backups.
With Altaro I can use the hole software etc.
