Big index.log: can I delete or rotate it?

I am running Seafile Pro 9.0.14, and recognized that the index.log file is quite big, 23GB and keeps growing. Is that normal? Is there any setting for rotating the logs, and keep multiple smaller files, instead of one big log file?

We will check the issue. For now, you can just delete the log file and restart the service.

You can add log rotate according to this manual: Logrotate - Seafile Admin Manual

The docker version has the logrotate configured already.
