Cached file retention on the Windows client

Using Seafile Community 6.0.4

I noticed that files opened with the Cloud Browser in the Windows client stay in the cache for longer than expected:


Especially when I’m opening files in an Encrypted library, I would think the cache should clear itself out after a certain amount of time (perhaps an hour, since that’s how long the server stores the password?). Is there a setting on the client or server I’m missing? Thank you.

The cache is not cleaned currently. In the next release, it will be cleaned on logout.

What do you mean by “logout”? My account is always in and synced on my Windows machine, except for my encrypted library. Will the cache for my encrypted library clean when the password for the library itself expires?
