Configure Client GUI via ansible?

Hi,

I am about to use ansible to save/backup/restore my local configuration. What is your proposed way to do so? Just backup the while .config/seafile folder and restore it?

Or is there a way to “reconfigure” it from scratch completely via command line?

Hi,

I am running Seafile Client on Linux 9.0.15.

I want to restore login data (incl. server address) as well as my folder sync settings.

There is a document on how to pre-config the Seafile clients on Linux: FAQ - Seafile User Manual

The way you mentioned by copying .config/seafile folder is not supported and likely cannot work.
