.doc file for Public

Hi,

I’m running Seafile with Libreoffice.

Is it possible to share a .doc file to make it possible to view the file without login in? And without downloading the file?

Just readable even if I would change the file?

I don’t think so. But you can use ONLYOFFICE or CollaboraOffice for internal view and edit, see https://manual.seafile.com/deploy/only_office.html and https://manual.seafile.com/deploy/libreoffice_online.html - It’s currently not possible to make use of them with share links.

Libreoffice/ CollaboraOffice is already installed.

I saw this feature on Nextcloud and I found this really helpful. But it is what it is. I wouldn’t move to Nextcloud or Pro for this particular reason.

Maybe one of the Seafile - Bosses can leave a statement about the request.
