Hi, I just created an extern link for a colleague, so he could download a file from my Seafile. He came back to me saying, the page was not reachable. So I looked at the URL and noticed, it was HTTP. Changing it to HTTPS, he could reach the site. Should the URL not use the HTTPS protocol as default, since I use a certificate for that?
Nobody any idea about this? Is it HTTPS for others? Am I on the wrong track? Is there a better place to ask?
Look in the settings: Do you have “https://…” in the service URL and FileServerRoot?
Thanks for that. The Service_URL was http. Things can be so easy if you know where to look. Being new to Seafile, I was quite lost.
