How can I prevent the iOS client from downloading files to the cache? Now when I download a photo to the client to view it, all the photos from that library are automatically downloaded to the cache. In a bookstore with lots of GB, it’s a problem.
Thanks in advance.
When you view one photo, only the adjacent 3 photos will be downloaded, not all the photos. When you open the folder, Seafile will try to load the thumbs of all the visible photos.
I think it is a problem. Should be a way to prevent this behavior because it use data without any control. I mean, if I have a “photo” library with 5MB of average size and I want download a photo, I only want use 5MB of data plan, not a extra 15 MB of adjacent 3 photos. At least it should be configurable.
Or maybe add a check if cellular data or wifi is used.
If running on cellular data only the chosen picture will be downloaded, if wifi the adjacent photos will be cached, too.
I’m not too much into programming but this could be easy to implement
