iOS client 2.9 does not play video or music files

Hello there,
I have just started to test seafile.
It seems that the iOS client does not support playing of video and music files.
Instead I get a white screen.
Tested with
Seafile client version: 2.9
iOS version: 10 and 12.4
File formats: .mp3, .mp4 and .mov
Server: seafile-server_7.0.4 on debian 9 and luckycloud.de test drive.

On Android and OSX it works like charm (Windows & Linux client not tested).

I would like to understand:

  1. Are those file formats supported by seafile iOS client?
  2. Is there anything to be configured on iOS to enable this?
  3. Is there something that needs to be installed on server side to support this?
  4. Can someone reproduce this?
  5. Or is this simply a bug?

Thanks for your help and support in advance
Dieter

Meanwhile I have checked the bug tracker on github and found an open issue 253 which seems to fit
    github (dot) com/haiwen/seafile-iOS/issues/253

I did some sniffing and testing but is not a server side issue, the file is downloaded to the phone and is being send by the server.

GitHub issue seem indeed related. Watching there.
