Is it safe to revert back on a Maintenance upgrade?

Hi,
I’m wondering if this is safe to do.
Let’s say that I’m updating from 6.2.2 to 6.2.3 then I’ll run the ./minor-upgrade.sh script in upgrade folder of the 6.2.3 folder.
But let’s say that I want to go back to 6.2.2 can I do it just like this then:
cd 6.2.2/upgrade
./minor-upgrade.sh

and just run the minor-update script again but in the 6.2.2 folder?
I can see that it works, but does it harm anything?

It is safe. As different maintenance versions use the same database tables.

Thanks, then I can lab with the new version a bit more over the weekend!
