Issue with uploaded videos not being readable in Seafile

Hello,

I’m encountering an issue where, after uploading videos to Seafile, some of them are readable while others are not. However, if I run a chmod -R 755 on my seafile-data folder after the upload, the videos become readable.

The problem is that the same issue happens with every future upload, and I need to run chmod -R 755 again for the new files to be accessible. I’m really not sure what’s causing this, but I suspect it’s related to the fact that my data folder is an NFS mount.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope someone might have a lead or solution to help me resolve this issue.

Well, I’m sorry, I think I’m going to give up. I’ve been having nothing but problems with Seafile for the past two months, it has never worked properly, and now it’s worse than ever with a 502 error. I’m really discouraged. I really regret it because of all the file hosting tools, this one was my favorite, but others work and this one doesn’t. I will probably try again one day, maybe a future version will be less temperamental. Thanks to everyone for your help, though
