Login attempt to my cloud through web, Windows or Android client comes back Page Unavailable

Currently using Ubuntu and Seafile Client 9.016, uploading files to My Library folder.

However, when I try to access my cloud on web browser, through Windows or Android clients, attempt gets to login window but after entering details (which are correct), I get a server error:::

[11/09/26 12:04:24]request failed for https : // cloud . **** .co.uk/api2/client-login/:

Page unavailable

Sorry, but the requested page is unavailable due to a server hiccup.

Our engineers have been notified, so check back later.

[11/09/26 12:04:24]get login token failed: Server Error

I have hidden part of the cloud address. Same message appears on all clients.

Can someone please point me in the direction of a solution? TIA

This looks like a server-side login/API or HTTPS configuration issue rather than a simple credential problem, because the same failure happens in the web browser, Windows client, and Android client after entering correct details, and the request fails at /api2/client-login/ with a server error.

Please share which server address you are using, and whether the site is behind HTTPS/reverse proxy. If HTTPS is enabled, check that the certificate chain is complete and trusted on the clients, and verify the proxy is forwarding Seafile API requests correctly. Because this appears to be a self-hosted Seafile deployment issue, you should also check with your server admin/operator if you are not the administrator.

Thanks for the reply, and apologies for not updating the site yet.

The problem appears to have resolved itself after my PC froze and I had to do (several) reboot. Once it was up and running the site worked. I suspect it was due to a caching issue or similar.

Best regards
