Redirect seafile to https in apache

I would like to redirect my users to the https session BEFORE they start typing their uid/password
So i figured i had to do this in apache config with the redirect, but can’t get it to work :frowning:

i’ve been putting this line in /etc/apache2/sites-enabeld/000-default.conf

Redirect permanent / https://mycloud.isgeweldig.net

But doesn’t seem to do it.
SHouldn’t be that hard ??

ANybody out here who can pin me in the right direction ??

It is not hard. Please check this one.

<VirtualHost *:80>
    DocumentRoot /var/www
    ServerName XXX.YYY.com
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule ^ https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [END,QSA,R=permanent]
</VirtualHost>

wunderbar!
finaly works now!

Kind Regards
Gerard
