Rollback from 7.1.3 to 7.0.5

Hi all,

Been using Seafile since v4, now behind nginX. Most upgrades so far were smooth, sometimes migrating servers (Ubuntu, Debian 8, 9, 10) over time using Backup & Recovery SQL-Dump & data folder transfer. However this time upgrading from 7.0.5 to 7.1.3 has not been so smooth for me. Following upgrade I ran into some issues whereby Seahub failed to start and after trying to rollback to 7.0.5 the upload functionality from within the website is failing.

Is there a proper way of rolling back an upgrade say I’ve tried upgrading to 7.1.3, and as I’ve lost some functionality, I’d like to know if there are any scripts part of the package that will allow me to roll back?

Thanks.

Found the answer:

From within the old version folder …/seafile-server-7.0.5/upgrade/
run minor-upgrade.sh

Enjoy.
