Seafile 12 binary not able to get it working

I have a Seafile 11 still runing fine. Tried to upgrade a couple of times but after a few days i have given up.

Not able to get it working. .env cannot be found. but is there. Trouble with python-env that removes itself after a reboot. Installation is crap!

I can assure you that the installation works fine if you follow the instructions.
The .env file must be placed inside the conf directory.

I can assure that I spend 2 days now without luck.

  • upgrade: no luck
  • New binary install: no luck
  • Seafile docker: it works.
  • Seafile docker restore backup from my old seafile: 504 or server hiccup without any errors in the log.

I can use a new docker but the migration of 1tb of data from the old will be a bitch. Thinking about using an other solution. After 2 days it is a horror.
