Seafile Client 9.0.9 wont launch on Arch, no errors, no logs

Hi folks. I’m running Seafile Professional server remotely with local Seafile Client on Arch. Everything up to date. Was working before 9.0.9. Currently downgrading but willing to perform debugging if someone can point me in the right direction.

Mobile/web app works fine, so all is good with the server.

I have tried launching seafile-applet from terminal which exits out with no error. The error logs stopped updating as soon as the latest update arrived.

I cannot fathom how to get some debugging information or error logs for the applet not launching since it just exits out with no response.

I am running Hyprland on Arch, so Wayland, if that makes any difference.

I have snapshots enabled so can quickly return to the latest version to do testing.

9.0.8 works fine with logs producing and console outut.
