I see SeafilePlus has been launched in beta on the website. Congrats btw, I think it’s the right move as the 3 Seafile Hosting Partners aren’t very good at keeping up to date on the latest releases.
Have a few questions;
- Planned pricing?
- Server/data location? Hopefully somewhere with strong data privacy laws and no NSA?
- Does Beta mean: “We haven’t tweaked optimally yet”, or “Don’t hold your personal data on here because we’re going to continuously blow up this instance.”

The goal of SeafilePlus cloud is to show the new features in Seafile and also to receive first hand feedbacks from end users.
The planned pricing is 8USD/user/month starting at 3 users, with 500GB storage.
The data is stored in a Switzerland datacenter.
Beta means the cloud service are not ready for production use yet, but the data will be stored safely. We use it daily to host Seafile Wiki and distribute Seafile binary packages.
