Hey all,
since the last Update to 12.0.14 (CE) memory demand is spiking. Previously our VM (not docker) ran with 4GiB of RAM. After multiple occurrences where seahub was oom-killed, we increased Mem to 8GiB and again to 16GiB. Yesterday our Monitoring warned AGAIN. This time seahub spiked at 11.5GiB. (~200GB storage, <15 regular daily Users, many more just for sharing permissions w/o own libs or files and irregular logins)
“top” shows poppler (via seahub) being the source of this.
> cat /etc/os-release

> dpkg -l | grep poppler

> systemctl status seahub

In the logs I see multiple mentions of this, but this was in the logs even before the update and not bound to a specific point in time:
[2025-10-17 06:21:10] [ERROR] seahub.thumbnail.utils:239 create_pdf_thumbnails Image size (620049942 pixels) exceeds limit of 178956970 pixels, could be decompression bomb DOS attack.

Beside that I don’t see any more infos in the logs corresponding to the event.
We can live with those demands. Nevertheless I wanted to report the behavior and maybe resolve this with the help of yours.
