Solution to auto-compress uploaded Pictures?

Hi all,

I’d like to automaticaly modify ( compress ) pictures my users are uploading either when they upload them or with a cron to modify for example all new pictures.

I’m not an expert so i’d like advices on this.
Server is on Ubuntu.
Wich solution would you use to do this if any ?

You could probabbly mount the files with seafile-fuse and modify them via cronjob.

It is not really possible. You need to be an expert and there will be many drawbacks.
