Im a newby trying to setup seafile on FreeBSD and am not sure how to use seafile after it has been installed and configured. I installed seafile-server seafile-gui seafile-client and seahub. I followed the post installation instructions and am now confused by what’s next.
OK. so you have the parts installed. Next step I guess is to make sure they work, then make them talk to each other. So can you get to your seafile’s web interface? Depending on the process you followed that might be at http://[server ip]:8000 or http://[server ip]:80 or maybe https://[server ip]:443.
Once that works and you can upload and download files, you can then open the client and tell it to connect to the server at that address.
