Sync cache on the client "there is a conflict with an existing library"

Hi,

I’m on pro 6.2.10

I’m in a (weird) sync issue.

I used to Sync a large library

“_Projets” (8 GB)

For some reasons : Seafile SYNC Client on DFS
I unsynced and deleted this library and tried to sync subfolders, with no success

“_Projets/Identites”
“_Projets/Portail”

The client shows a dialog Box "there is a conflict with an existing library"

The client logs :

[03/26/18 18:02:26] clone-mgr.c(1258): Worktree path conflict with repo _Projets.
[03/26/18 18:07:05] clone-mgr.c(1258): Worktree path conflict with repo _Projets.
[03/26/18 18:07:27] clone-mgr.c(1258): Worktree path conflict with repo _Projets.

But : the former library “_Projets” (8 GB) is :

  • unsynced
  • deleted from the server
  • purged from the server (seaf_gc.sh)

What can i do ?
Is there any cache on the client that maintain memory about the former library ?
How can i remove all existing information on the client ?

Regards,

Gautier

The client somehow remember the old sync.

Just rename “_Projets” to something like “_Projets_temp”, wait for one minute, then rename it back, while keeping the Seafile client open.

Thank You Daniel, it worked !

It was quite difficult, due to long file paths (not related to Seafile). I had to rename many files before doing that.

Gautier

Didn’t work for me. :frowning:
Seafile server 7.0.4
Client 7.0.2
