Syncing two servers

I am working on a new deployment with a petabyte array in North America and one in Europe. From the user’s perspective this should not be seen as two separate storage locations, such as the case would be using the Open Cloud Sync ‘shared by other servers’. There should be a single location they go to which I will geo-locate to either array depending on the office they are coming from. A portion of the files are large (~2-12 GB) so we need to deliver them from as close as possible since trans-Atlantic latency is hurting us.

At a previous company we had two Nextcloud instances that just pointed to each other as clients, but lost a lot of functionality. For this deployment we would need the file access and tracking features of Seafile which I beieve would break using that strategy.
