Windows client says not connected, despited syncing and web acess

seafile client tells me server not conneected, that matches what I see in the log,
however, I can access the web gui, changed fils are synced. The client,
with a delay of a few minuts also shows, the library is synced.

However, it still says, not connected.
(red symbole lower left, exclamation mark on icon)

no big problem, as it seems to work, but a small annoyance.

now it is 8:48, still “some serves are not connected”

what happend:
at 7:39 I turned on the notebook from sleep.
at 8:28 I edited a test text file
my assumption:

  • network was not available as it resumed from sleep, hence the errors
  • after some failures, the gui, does not retry, even when networking is restored, does this make sense?

I have 6.0.3 installed, I will upgrade to 6.0.4 to see if this helps

yes, this is a good approach since there was an issue with the lan connectivity detector.

I have the same issue - and I’m using 6.0.4. Connection is shown for a LAN server, and not connected to a WAN server (which is connecting via a proxy). However sync works for both without issues - and is shown as such. Only the connection indicator remains red for the WAN server.
And yes, this happens when you resume from sleep.

Same here.

@daniel.pan could you remove the 20 char requirement, please?

after installation of 6.0.4., at first I thought it was better, but now I have the same symptoms again.
However this time not triggered by resume from sleep, but nginx stop/some maintenance/nginx start on the server, while seafile windows client was running;

… several failed messages (as webserver was down)

now 22:52, GUI still says some servers not connected, despite successfully syncing

Same issue here.

Are there any news regarding this topic?

Thanks in advance.

Mark

Same issue, using Seafile client 6.0.6.

Same issue here on 7.0.0 client. Cleared cache and reconnected. The connection is dropped after certain amount of time.
