Alternative Text Editor in Android App

Hi,

I want to use an other Text Editor for editing text files as the built in editor is not very convenient.
Is this possible?

There is already such a feature:

Long press on the file list, tap the “Open-With” menu item in the More dialog, the file will be opened through a third-party app, and the remote file content will be automatically overwritten after editing and saving the text file.
Necessary prerequisites: Third-party apps need to be able to read and write files to that shared path
