BUG: windows client silently ignores folders with incompatible names

Hi all,

Scenario: in a shared library between a Mac and a Windows user, the Mac user created a few folders with “:” in the name (and synced it to the server). the seafile client of the Windows continued to sync, but silently ignored those folders (and the files within). This should not happen. I know that Mac and Linux clients issue a warning when creating such files, but the Windows client should also notify the user when it cannot sync files/folders with incompatible names.

Best,
Hp

Actually the Windows client will notify about this. And there are records in the “file sync errors” dialog.

hm, ok, that is not what the user reported  but I will check back with him.
