Cannot connect with hostname, only IP

As mentioned on the subject, I cannot connect seafile with the hostname. Accessing by IP directly, seafile is working. But with hostname, no, just ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

I tried bind = “0.0.0.0:8000” in /opt/seafile/conf/gunicorn.conf.py restarted seafile and seahub, but nothing changes.

Any idea, please?

Are you using a reverse proxy, maybe nginx? Then your configuration would be of interest. How is your hostname resolved to an ip address? Maybe the resolution gives a wrong address.

Thanks for answering. I found an error with nginx config for SSL. All good now.
