Collabora Online editing with external users

Hello!
I’ve recently moved my server over to Seafile after dealing with NextCloud being extremely slow, and I am generally very pleased with my experience, uploads are snappy, and it’s a lot more simpler and less bloated than NextCloud.

Instead of using the Seafile Collabora container I opted to just keep my existing one since I already had the configurations for it anyway, everything works fine, except whenever I generate a share link, people I sent it to aren’t able to collaborate, and I can’t find an option to do this. I was thinking it might’ve been a problem with how I integrated it since I used a pre-existing container, but I’m not quite sure.

Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

EDIT:
I should have specified, the people I am sharing with are guests and do not have an account on my Seafile instance. Though, without the ability to set collaborators, I’m not sure how signed in users would access it through the share link either.

When creating a share link, you can set it as “editable”. In this way, your external users can also edit on the file.

Where do I find this option? When I generate a share link the only options are password protect and duration.

I see this when I go to share.

The version I am using is CE 12. I notice there is a version CE 13 in the docker repo, do I need to upgrade to 13?

I did some digging and I noticed that docker was reporting a different version than that of the info in Seafile. I purged the image and re-pulled it and now those options are showing. I’m not sure what caused this, but it is fixed now.
