Is it possible to have a setting in user profile somewhere to connect an existing email/password account to OAuth?
The user can login with local account. There should be a connect oauth button in the personal profile page. (At least there is such a feature for SAML2)
Is it only on version 14, or only for SAML2? I’m currently hosting Seafile CE 13.0.25 and I don’t see a Connect OAuth button in my profile settings.
I’m sure I got the OAuth working because I did the Authentik Seafile tutorial and then manually updated the social_auth_usersocialauth table in the database. SSO from the login screen works as expected.
Hi @NutchapolSal,
There is currently no “Connect” button for generic OAuth.
The SSO section in the personal profile page only renders Connect/Disconnect for SAML2/ADFS integration. The generic OAuth flow used by Authentik (and similar providers) has no UI to bind an already-existing local account.
We will add this feature in the latest version 14.
The ability to connect and disconnect an OAuth identity for existing local accounts in user profile settings has been implemented and is scheduled for release in Seafile version 14.0.10.
