We need generally a css template from the devs or options in the admin settings for custom branding. CSS is fine for me and most of users that require branding I think.
Someone took the time to write the code, but is has to be updated constantly.
Someone uploaded his code to Github, maybe the seafile team can fork it and update it with every Seafile release.

This template should be updated with every Seafile version that you publish. Maybe in the Seafile documentation?
You guys write the code and it should be an easy task for you to provide us the code that we need.
