Delete existing data

Hi,

I’m using Seafile installed on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ as a server for my Joplin notes. Recently the 256 GB drive I’m using ran out space, with seafile-data being completely full. I’m not sure what the cause is but I think that’s a question for the Joplin community, not Seafile’s, so I’m not asking for help there. I want to delete the data and start syncing fresh and would like to know what all I need to delete so I can try syncing again. Is it only what’s in seafile-data/storage/* or is there more? Joplin notes are the only thing on there so I’m not worried about losing other data.

Thanks!
Mike

You should use seaf-gc command to delete not used data: Seafile GC - Seafile admin manual

Thanks Daniel! The dry run has been running for about 9 hours. Once that completes I’ll then do the actual run and let you know what that does.

It took several days to do the dry run and then the actual one. It didn’t free up any space though. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!
