Elasticsearch necessary with 9.0.2 on raspberry Pi?

hi,
I use seafile 8.07 on my Raspberry Pi without elasticsearch.
I would like to know if i can update to 9.0.2 without elasticsearch and docker.
Can I just update seafile ? Is elasticsearch necessary ?

elasticsearch is not need for community edition.

Actually, my version is CE.

It should be noticed here https://manual.seafile.com/upgrade/upgrade_notes_for_9.0.x/#update-elasticsearch that it’s not needed for CE.
