Hi Seafile Community,
I try to figure out some bugs in my Seafile configuration.
In the Seafile System Admin Panel under “Devices” and “Errors” I find following messages to my libraries.
"Failed to update branch."
In my “seafile.logs” I got this bug messages every few seconds while uploading via windows client bigger tif picture files.:
Fast forward merge for repo X is failed.
Head branch update for repo X conflicts with GC.
I use “Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.15.0-144-generic x86_64)” and “Server Version: 8.0.2 (seafile-pro-server_8.0.2_x86-64_Ubuntu.tar.gz)”.
I host seafile in the Hetzner Cloud with: “CPX31 / 80 GB + 1400 GB / fsn1-dc14”
4 x VCPU
8 GB RAM
80 GB DISK LOKAL
1400 GB SSD VOLUME (system link with seafile data folder in /mnt)
The usage is following…
We upload up to 1TB picture files (multiple jpgs and tiffs). So each file has 2 MB up to 60 MB. The customers get download links with folders up to 36 Files to generate zips from. So zip archives are round about 100 MB up to 2 GB or in some special cases 4 GB or 5 GB. But most of the time 500 MB - 2 GB.
Uploads are only from two windows maschines. The user is identical. They sync different libraries. In use are 2 - 3 Libraries.
The fail message in system admin panel
What does this actually mean?
Netdata Dump of 5 Days (I have more data if needed)
It would be amazing if someone could help me with this problems! Or giving some advice or tipp for settings etc…
Thanks a lot,
