How do I make the Android app sync more often?

I want to use this app to backup my photos to my server. Right now, it seems to only be doing it once every 24 hours.

Is there a way to make it happen more often without having to manually force it to sync?

I think it is controlled by your Android phone account syncing settings.

I’ve checked every setting in the phone and I have not found anything that allows me to change the sync times.

Was this ever improved? It seems very hit and miss. With Google Photos, it forces synchronise when I open the app. Not sure Seafile app does the same. One for the wishlist (is there a list?) if not.

Seafile’s Android app definitely deserves some TLC.
