I get an error when installing Seattle drive. “Failed to Initialize: failed to install kernel driver”. Any ideas?
I have tried via root user too. Same error.
Using MacBook Pro 15 inch, 2017 10.13.4.
Rember: You don’t have to execute it with root privileges, not just run as Admin user.

it looks like it is related to the new security feature of macOS that prevents changes to the kernel.

I would assume that if you allow the changes to the kernel, than you can install seadrive.
