[iOS app] Photo/video upload doesn't work anymore on encrypted libraries

I’m using the Seafile Pro app from the Apple Store, v2.9.33.
My iOS version is v18.2.1, iPhone SE 2022 (= 3rd generation).
Seafile Server is v11.0.13 using the Docker container, with HTTPS.

When I enable the automatic upload of the photos and videos, I can only select non-encrypted libraries. When I try to select an encrypted library, the row where is the library name becomes gray, so it knows that I just pressed on it, but it won’t do anything else. When I select a non-encrypted library, it immediately goes back to the options menu and starts uploading the files.

It used to work flawlessly with encrypted libraries until January, 7, 2025. I don’t remember doing anything special on that day (maybe I did, don’t remember). I do remember clearing the Seafile Pro app on my iPhone though. If I remember correctly, it was because the files were not uploading anymore that I cleared the cache.
I also deleted the whole app and I set up everything again, but it didn’t change anything.

Everything works great from the Seafile Client on my computer (v9.0.7).

Is there something that I can do to help debugging this issue?

I’m sorry we no longer support auto-uploading or backup photos and videos to an encrypted library in mobile client with latest version.

The maintenance of this is beyond our current capacity.

Oh okay so this is why it was not working anymore. Thank you for your answer.

Hopefully your company keeps growing in the next coming years. Seafile is my favorite software ever, so I’m glad to know that you’re prioritizing the resources in order to make it sustainable.
