Lost sync on windows

I’m having this issue sometimes its happened sometimes on windows and on macos, where the local folder wont update, in this case in windows there is an entire folder missing, ive closed and opened seadrive and it wont refresh and it looks like all is “synced”, dont know how to force sync or update it

What can i do ?

im on seafile 13.0.28 and Seadrive Client 3.0.24

On Windows some characters are not allowed in the file name/folder name. For example, folder names cannot end with spaces. Could you check:

  1. Whether the folder ends with spaces
  2. Sync errors in the file sync error dialog, which can be opened from the system notification area icon.

No in fact, there are files with syncyng issues because of that, but not this one

as you can see all the issues due to spaces or special characters are in a different folder not this one.

Is there special character support coming any time soon?

It’s a Windows system restriction that special characters cannot be used in file names.

Could you send the seadrive log folder via email to support@seafile.com? So that we can check for extra errors.

Great, it should be hitting your inbox right about now, i sent you both the logs from my mac and one of my pc’s i figured it could help to have them for comparison, both are connected to the same user/account under seadrive.
