Is there a migration path for the wiki version 12? Or does every page have to be recreated? I’ve already had to do that once for an earlier version of Seafile. I find it completely incomprehensible why the wiki keeps being rebuilt.
I searched the forum for instructions on how to migrate it, but unfortunately found none.
The old wiki uses Markdown format. The new wiki uses sdoc format.
In the wikis list page, you can see the old wikis are listed under “Old Wikis” group. In the dropdown menu, there is a menu to migrate this old wiki into a new wiki.
Ah, I don’t see that. Wonderful. I assume that SeaDoc has fully functional to do the conversion.
Should I unpublish the wiki in version 11 first? Is it necessary to publish the wiki again in version 12? What’s the difference from “publish” and “share“ of a wiki?
This is not needed.
Sharing a wiki is for granting internal users to access the Wiki. Publishing a wiki is to let anonymous users to access the wiki.
I have seen, that this menu entry does not exist if the underlying library is not me. But even I change the owner to me, the menu entry isn’t here.
