New file tags in seafile pro 13 not working

Hi,

I just installed a fresh version of seafile pro 13 with docker. There should be a new file tags feature. But when I add a tag to a file the following error is displayed:

Tips: These are tags of old version. The feature is deprecated and can no longer be used.

How can this be? I didn’t do an upgrade of an old version. I uploaded a file to my library, selected the file, opened the three dot menu, selected “more > properties”, clicked on the “Empty” tag, entered a new tag and clicked on “Create a new tag …”. This works, but the message with the deprecated feature is displayed.

Any ideas?

Have you turned on the metadata feature and started the metadata server?

No, I didn’t know that this is a requirement for file tags. Then I will try to setup the metadata server.

I just installed and configured the md-server. Now I can use the new file tags. Cool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
