With 9.0 on the horizon, I would like to request that a tag be added to the docker images to allow users to stay on the latest version of 8 without using the “latest tag.” I assume that once a version 9 image is posted to the Harbor repository, it will be marked as latest which means all 8 installs with the “lastest” tag will be upgraded.
Since there seem to be a bunch of changes that may not require some manual intervention (the elasticsearch image comes to mind) I think it would help to have additional tags added to the images.
An 8 or 8.0 tag would be great.
