Hi,
I have seafile running in a docker container and nginx as a reverse proxy on the same server with ssl enabled. Another application running on that server is the radicale caldav… Furthermore, I have seafdav enabled.
Now, I want to change the path of seafile in the address, i.e. from
https://myexample.example.com/
to https://myexample.example.com/seafile
.
Unfortunately, with the configuration it is not working.
This is the nginx file on the server:
server {
server_name myexample.example.com;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
location /radicale/ { #Der / am Ende ist wichtig!
proxy_pass https://localhost:5232/; #Der / am Ende ist wichtig!
proxy_set_header X-Script-Name /radicale;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_pass_header Authorization;
}
location /seafile/ {
proxy_read_timeout 310s;
proxy_set_header Host $host;
proxy_set_header Forwarded "for=$remote_addr;proto=$scheme";
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header Connection "";
proxy_http_version 1.1;
proxy_pass http://localhost:8001;
}
listen 443 ssl; # managed by Certbot
ssl_certificate /etc/letsencrypt/live/myexample.example.com-0001/fullchain.pem; # managed by Certbot
ssl_certificate_key /etc/letsencrypt/live/myexample.example.com-0001/privkey.pem; # managed by Certbot
include /etc/letsencrypt/options-ssl-nginx.conf; # managed by Certbot
ssl_dhparam /etc/letsencrypt/ssl-dhparams.pem; # managed by Certbot
}
server {
if ($host = myexample.example.com) {
return 301 https://$host$request_uri;
} # managed by Certbot
listen 80;
server_name myexample.example.com;
return 404; # managed by Certbot
}
And this the nginx configuration in the docker container. I tried replacing location /
with location /seafile
but without success:
server {
listen 80;
server_name myexample.example.com:8001;
client_max_body_size 10m;
location / {
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8000/;
proxy_read_timeout 310s;
proxy_set_header Host $http_host:8001;
proxy_set_header Forwarded "for=$remote_addr;proto=$scheme";
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header Connection "";
proxy_http_version 1.1;
client_max_body_size 0;
access_log /var/log/nginx/seahub.access.log seafileformat;
error_log /var/log/nginx/seahub.error.log;
}
location /seafhttp {
rewrite ^/seafhttp(.*)$ $1 break;
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8082;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
client_max_body_size 0;
proxy_connect_timeout 36000s;
proxy_read_timeout 36000s;
proxy_request_buffering off;
access_log /var/log/nginx/seafhttp.access.log seafileformat;
error_log /var/log/nginx/seafhttp.error.log;
}
location /notification/ping {

access_log /var/log/nginx/notification.access.log seafileformat;
error_log /var/log/nginx/notification.error.log;
}
location /notification {
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8083/;
proxy_http_version 1.1;
proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";
access_log /var/log/nginx/notification.access.log seafileformat;
error_log /var/log/nginx/notification.error.log;
}
location /seafdav {
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8080;
proxy_set_header Host $host;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $server_name;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme;
proxy_read_timeout 1200s;
client_max_body_size 0;
access_log /var/log/nginx/seafdav.access.log seafileformat;
error_log /var/log/nginx/seafdav.error.log;
}
location /media {
root /opt/seafile/seafile-server-latest/seahub;
}
}
The part of the docker-compose.yml
:
seafile:
image: seafileltd/seafile-mc:11.0-latest

# - "443:443" # If https is enabled, cancel the comment.

This is the seahub_settings.py
