Seadrive client release for Ubuntu 24.04 noble?

Hi devs @daniel.pan ,

is there / will there be a seadrive client release for Ubuntu 24.04 noble?
Installation fails saying there isnÄt a release file!?

@Jochen If you can’t wait, like I couldn’t, I have create some build scripts that build the .deb’s using docker (Using docker avoids filling your system with all the build dependencies)

You can find them for seafile and seadrive here:

@Jonathan It’d be great if you guys could include some docker-based build scripts like these so that the build steps are clearly defined and easily runnable. Thanks.

Thanks @rbut. I tested building “build-seafile-client” under “Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon 6.2.9” and it is working fine.

I hope seafile team will adopt this and make the deb package officially available again.
