I’m using Seafile Client 8.0.7 across all platforms (Win, MacOS, Linux) simultaneously.
Unfortunately libaries encrypted with version 4 are not syncable via Linux Kali.
../common/seafile-crypt.c(56): Encrypted library version 4 is not supported.
This problem only occurs with my Linux Kali instance.
Since Kali is a Debian-based OS, I installed the client from the official repo for Debian 11.
Accessing encrypted libaries (v4) via the client-integrated file browser works just fine.
Is this a known bug?
