Seafile Client GUI: internal error

Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, I’ve been having a problem with the Seafile client GUI for a few days now. Even updating it hasn’t changed anything.

Problem
After restarting the PC, the Seafile GUI no longer works. The following error message appears: “internal error: failed to connect to daemon”.
However, synchronization seems to continue to work in the background.

Setup
Windows 11 64-bit
Client for Windows 9.0.15

I have tried the following

  • Uninstalling Seafile Client (without deleting the data)
  • Restarting the PC
  • Reinstalling Seafile → GUI starts without any problems
  • Restarting the PC
  • Error message reappears until I reinstall it again

Can anyone explain what might be the problem here?
