The other thread I posted on is six years old so I’ll start a new one. Has anyone had Seafile client prompt to upgrade and if so, have you done something on your system to enable it?

Mentioned in other thread that Seafile disabled auto updates on the server side and plan to remove it. Completely the wrong decision IMO. I get involved in Cyber Essentials in the UK a lot these days (semi-reluctantly) and software that doesn’t update is frowned upon.

Well, I never saw it work neither…
And according to the client changelog the client version checking has been removed…
It doesn’t work ? Get read of the problem !
