Hello, I am looking for a way to make seafile work on a Proxmox server.
Various instructions on the net with a VM and direct seafile installation did not work.
Is there a todo for the installation

Have you taken a look at the direct binary installation instructions in the Seafile documentation?
You should note the following though:
“Since version 12.0, binary based deployment for community edition is deprecated and will not be supported in a future release.”
In other words, Docker is the Seafile future 
If you can deploy Seafile that way right now, it’d probably save you a lot of time and headache. Just install Docker CE on the VM and then go from there.
