Seahub times out

So I have just installed Seafile server, started both seafile and seahub and tried opening the hub on port 8000. It doesn’t work. Times out when I cURL using the external and the local IP. I have also tried configuring it with an nginx proxy and still doesn’t work.

I have also tried starting the hub in port 8080/8081 (also changing ccnet.conf).

Shouldn’t it work out of the box when you run the setup? I’m a little confused.

How do you start seafile? If you don’t have nginx/apache you should use “./seahub.sh start” (i.e. not “./seahub.sh start-fastcgi”)
