Are there any plans to unify the sync client and the drive client into a single app? I understand that they’re two separate models, however Dropbox has both in the one app (they call their streaming “smart sync”). With Dropbox, you can choose to either sync the entire folder (like the older Seafile client), or stream it (like the new Drive client). I imagine Seafile could do something similar - You could choose to sync some libraries (like the old client), and stream others (like the new client).
I kind of like the idea of keeping them separate but that’s just my opinion
The code of the drive client is closed. The devs stated a while ago that they don’t intend to open source it (for now).
