I use the android app Synchronize Ultimate. I oberved that I can open by this app an encrypted folder without using the password! The Android seafile client of course only allows using the same encrypted folder with password. That’s quite strange! There should be no possibilty using an encrypted folder without any password! There seems to be something wrong. Any advice?
When you access an encrypted library using your password it stays unlocked for a while. For example I can acces an encrypted Library using Opera browser without reentering my PW after unlocking it using Chrome browser. Maybe this explains the behaviour you described.
