I have Seafile 13 CA running on Unraid. I would like to upgrade to the Pro edition, but I noticed that the instructions for seafile 13 state: “Currently seafile 11 is the latest release, and the respective tag used would be 11.0-latest.”
So, would this downgrade the edition to 11?
The documentation you are referring to is outdated. Seafile Professional Edition version 13.0 is the current version and is fully supported.
Upgrading your Seafile 13 Community Edition (CA) to the Pro edition will not result in a downgrade to version 11, provided you use the correct Docker image and tag. You should use the following image and tag for the Pro edition:
seafileltd/seafile-pro-mc:13.0-latest
You can find the official changelog for Seafile Professional 13.0 here:
Seafile Professional Server Changelog
For general Docker-based Pro installation instructions, you can refer to the official manual:
Installation of Seafile Server Professional Edition with Docker
If you are using an Unraid template from the Community Applications, you may need to manually update the “Repository” field in the container settings to seafileltd/seafile-pro-mc:13.0-latest.
