Update from 12.0.14 to 12.0.25

On my Ubuntu 24.04.5 server, Seafile Pro 12.0.14 runs very well, and I’m happy with it. However, I wanted to update this version to 12.0.24 or 25, but I couldn’t get the Seafile service to start.
By updating version by version, I saw that it worked fine up to version 12.0.18, but version 19 wouldn’t start.
The only difference between the seafile.sh and seahub.sh startup scripts in version 18 and later versions was the set -a and set +a commands that enclosed the source command.
By commenting out these set +/- a commands in the scripts, I was able to install all the updates up to 12.0.25. Seafile seems to be working perfectly.

Are these set -a and set +a commands important?

Could you please let us know whether you are using a Docker-based deployment?

Also, could you try upgrading to Seafile version 13.0 to check if the startup issue persists?

Thanks you for your reply, but no I don’t use the docker-based installation, just your binary setup.
